Devastation was clear, the towns beloved forest had gone up in flames, causing the once beautiful town to look hazy and desperate. Everyone knew that the fire would spread and it would soon be engulfing their village, they had to evacuate now. Beneath the flames, the few animals that were left, gave in to the scorching blaze that had licked at there feet, for what had felt like decades. Hopelessly, the village people prayed, knowing that they were alone. By this time even village children knew it was to late, they would have to rescue themselves. No one was coming.
